Hey Nailistas! It’s Digit-al Dozen challenge week! This month is a recurring theme, Decades. We did this a few years back too, so many cool designs came of it that we had to do it again. My Day One is a negative space nail design inspired by the art deco style of the 1920’s.
I just love this era’s fashion and design style! Wouldn’t it have been so awesome to live in the time of flapper dresses!
To make the pattern I stamped this cool geometric angles image from UberChic Beauty plate UC 10-02 onto my bare nail with Mundo de Unas White stamping polish. I then filled in bits and pieces of the design with white acrylic paint and a detail brush.
I love how these turned out. Not only were they super easy to do but I think they look pretty dang awesome! What say you?
I have a short video to go with this look on my MissShelly129 YouTube channel. Stop by and check it out and hit that SUBSCRIBE button if you haven’t already.
And don’t forget to see what the rest of the Digit-al Dozen girls did for Day 1 in the InLinkz below!
