Hello Nail Friends! Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. I’m back today with a new to me indie nail polish brand that I fell in love with at Fall PolishCon, NeVerMind Polish. I bought 2 of her colors there (haven’t swatched them yet but they are gorgeous). So I am super excited to show you their newest collection for winter 2016. The Winter Solstice Collection features 6 perfectly wintery shades in a range of stunning finishes. There is also a live swatch video coming to my youtube channel so you can see these beauties in action if you like. Let’s get right to it shall we!
Frozen Moon is sky blue with a soft linear holo finish. Super easy, smooth application. It dries semi-matte on it’s own. My swatches show 2 coats with top coat.
Christmas Mass-acre is a deep wine red with a strong linear holo finish and a flash of golden shimmer. Again a beautiful application and it has that same semi-matte finish, a shiny topcoat really brings out the sparkle. Very opaque, almost a one coater. I used 2 thin coats.
Christmas Cookies features a white crelly base filled with small green and red metallic hex glitters. I used 3 coats for full coverage, 2 was okay but I could still see a bit of VNL.
Winter’s Eve is my personal favorite. A gorgeous midnight blue leaning blurple jelly base packed with blue micro flakes. 3 coats covered well. All those layers of sparkling flakies shining through…fantastic! Photos just can’t do it justice.
City Snow is perfectly named. A pretty gray with a sparkling holo finish and gold flash shimmer. Like all the others this also dries to a semi-matte finish. Shown here is 2 easy coats plus top coat.
Snow Daze is this collection’s glitter topper. A clear base with silver holo and matte white micro glitters. It makes a great topcoat over another color or can be worn alone in 3-4 coats (ring finger) giving it a super sparkly holo look, but if you sponge it on the white takes over giving it an entirely different kind of matte textured look (index & pinky). I can’t decide which way I like best..
Aren’t these beautiful! Which shade is your favorite?? My top picks would probably be Winter’s Eve, Christmas Mass-acre and to my surprise, Snow Daze, I’m usually not that into toppers but I just love the versatility of it!
Check out the video below to see all the different ways to wear it.
