I’m still working my way through our Digit-al Dozen Nail Heroes week. So far I’ve done people who are my personal heroes in the nail world, now for some products I can’t live without. Today that is holographic polish. There’s something about a sparkling rainbow on my nails that just makes me feel happy inside. Plus on a sunny summer’s day you’re sure to be stopped by at least one stranger asking what this magic on your fingertips is and we all know how awesome that is. So a big thanks to the brand that did it first, from all of us!
The holo that got me hooked was NfuOh 61, it was actually the first swatch I ever posted on this blog back in 2012. I know they weren’t the first, I believe that honor goes to the Sally Hansen Nail Prisms. Looking back at those nails makes me cringe though. Haha! Today I decided to go for a little holo on holo nail art.
The gorgeous berry is Colors by Llarowe If You Dare from the Winter 2015 Collection. I stamped it with CbL Sparkling Diamonds silver holo stamping polish and this beautiful swirly leafy viney floral image from UberChic Beauty plate UC 4-03.
Simple but so pretty! I just love this shade of berry pink, this was definitely one of my favorite polishes of 2015. And of course everything UberChic does is just perfection.
Can you pick an all time favorite holo? I’ve been thinking and I really don’t think I can narrow it down to just one, or even 3 for that matter. But if you had to pick, is there one you just couldn’t live without?
