Happy Friday Nailistas! I’m on my 3rd Digit-al Dozen challenge mani of the week. Making all these Youtube videos is reallly slowing my schedule but it’s fun so it’s worth it. 🙂 Tonight I gave the Dry Marble / Needle Marble / Drag Marble (whatever we’re calling it) method another try. I did this technique once before in my first year of blogging (see that one HERE – and please ignore my way too long nail shape, horrible photo quality and oddly formatted post. Haha!) This time I did pretty much the same design but centered on the nail and in purple. And of course I made a video to go with it. 🙂
I won’t get into explaining the how-to here, it’s really easy. If you’d like to see just how it’s done click on the image below to see the step-by-step tutorial on YouTube.
I really like this design. And it’s so nice to be able to get that watermarbled nail look WITHOUT the mess!
I feel like maybe I should have done an accent nail with these, maybe a gradient nail or something. I don’t know.. anyways.
Don’t forget to visit the rest of the ladies of the Digit-al Dozen to see what they came up with for “New and Improved” today. I know quite a few of us did dry marble nails this week. It’s such a fun technique, I don’t know why I don’t do it more often.
