Hello again! I’m back with a few comparisons. The new Zoya Flair collection shimmers vs. other similar Zoya shades from my stash. Some are pretty close, you’ll have to tell me what you think…lets get right to it!
First up are my reds. Ember from the Flair collex is center. On the left , Elisa. And to the right, Aphrodite. While Elisa’s finish is similar her shade of red is much darker and the shimmer is not as intense. And Aphrodite is completely different in formula and finish (someone in the Zoya group was curious about how close the color was so I included it)
The blues I have are.. from Flair, Estelle (center). On the left is Neve which has a finer shimmer and leans more purple. And on the right we have Song, a bolder blue with an entirely different micro-glitter shimmer finish.
The purples are all quite similar. Giada (center) is the darkest and truest purple of the three. On the left, Belinda is definitely more blue toned. And on the right is Suri, very similar finish but also a little more blurple in color. But wow Suri & Belinda are pretty close though! Haven, from the Wishes collection is also a deep purple ( I somehow missed that one going thru me Helmer) but it seems to be a lot more red toned than these and has more of a crelly finish.
Now onto the metallics. In the center is Tris from the Flair collection, a dark gunmetal shade of gray. Jules (one of my favorite Zoya polishes) is on the right, it’s a silvery nude, completely different. And so is Hazel on the left. These 2 were the closest Zoya colors I had. I swear Hazel didn’t look this blue in the bottle. Haha
Next up are the golds. We have the new polish, Aggie, in the center. On the left is Ziv, with a totally different micro-glitter finish and a much lighter shade of gold. And on the right is Richelle (My name! 🙂 ) which is more of a coppery color.
As for the dark bronze from the Flair collex, Cinnamon, I only had one other Zoya in the same color range. Autumn has a more reddish tone and more glittery finish.
So there you have em.. No dupes! Not in my Zoya stash anyways. 🙂 Zoya is pretty good about not repeating colors. Unlike some other brands (I’m lookin at you OPI) who rename and reuse shades all the time.
I don’t think I have any dupes for the cremes in the Focus Collection either, maybe some close shades from other brands.. When I finish swatching them would anyone be interested in seeing comparisons of those? Let me know in the comments!
