For today’s mani I decided to try to make one of those blacklight posters on my nails!
I started by watermarbling with a few neons from the new China Glaze Electric Nights Collection. I was hoping these would marble as well as the other ChG polishes I’ve tried with but they were kind of finicky. It took a lot of tries to get it right. The colors I used were UV Meant To Be (blue), Daisy Know My Name ( yellow), Home Sweet House Music (orange) and Glow With The Flow (pink).
I added a layer of top coat and when that was dry I stamped this 3D checkered pattern from plate Z107 (a generic “FauxYou” plate that I got on AliExpress) using MdU black stamping polish.
I really wanted to take a picture of this under a blacklight! But when I went down to the basement to get our blacklight bulb out of the Halloween box I dropped it on the floor and it shattered. 🙁
I’ll bet those neons would have looked really cool under it too!
Still pretty in regular light though. 🙂
