The lovely ladies at Priti NYC sent me these four polishes to review, I will be swatching them sometime soon but for now I can tell you that most are great for nail art. The yellow, Horned Poppy and orange, Fireglow are both super pigmented and are a great consistency. But the blue, Blue Sage, is a bit thinner with an almost crelly finish. And the black, Nigra, is just a great black creme – I know I will be getting a lot of use out of that one especially.
I am totally hooked on these negative space / floating / cut-out type manicures where the naked nail shows through. They always end up being my favorites. 🙂 For this design I started with a coat of Beauty Secrets Ridgefiller from Sallys. I used Bundle Monster plate BM315 to stamp the image in black and I filled in the colors directly on the stamper. Usually I would then cover the stamper with topcoat, let it dry then peel and stick the design.. But I watched this awesome YouTube tutorial from Lucy’s Stash showing a much easier way to do stamp decals where you just stamp it directly onto the nail (watch the video to understand what I mean) ..it was sooo much easier! I only had to re-do one nail where it smushed a bit because I had the tc on too thick. So thank you Lucie! I’m sure I will be doing this a Lot!
So which was your favorite vintage mani?? There were sooo many amazing designs from all of the girls this week!
