First Look at a few pretties from the KB Shimmer Spring Collection

Hello Nailistas! Have I got a treat for you today! The lovely Christy from KB Shimmer has sent me 3 beauties from her upcoming Spring Collection to share with you. And just like every other KB Shimmer polish I've ever laid eyes on these are Fabulous!

Spring 2013 Collection

I'll save the repetition by telling you now, all three of these applied beautifully, no issues at all. 

Lets start with Get Clover It. This is the one I think I was most excited to receive, I'm really obsessed greens lately. Get Clover It is made up of gold, green and turquoise circle shaped glitters floating in a sea of emerald green jelly polish with a dash of green micro shimmer. Yes, those are Circles! Yet another aspect of this polish I'm totally gaga over. Green, jelly, circle glitter.. it couldn't get any better! This is 3 coats with one coat over OPI Black Onyx on the accent nail. 

I LOVE those circles!!! :)

Next up is Iris My Case, a beautiful pastel violet glitter polish. It reminds me of those yummy speckled Easter egg candies and it looks good enough to eat! Iris My Case has a milky crelly base filled with  purple, pink, blue and silver hex shaped glitters. I don't know why my camera made it look sort of gray but it's definitely more purple in real life. This is 3 coats without undies. 

Delicious!

And last but definitely not least, my surprise favorite of the bunch Squared Away.  A glitter topcoat comprised of square glitters in varying colors, sizes and finishes including metallic and holographic with a touch of blue micro shimmer throughout. I just love the look of this one! Shown here is 2 thin coats. One would've been good but you know me, I like a Lot of glitter on my nails :) For the undies I used Illamasqua Prosperity (purple) and Illamasqua Devotee (pink). The glitters spread beautifully and laid perfectly flat on the nail. 

 Did somebody say Glitter Bomb!!! 

I also had the privilege of trying out a sample of KB Shimmer's new Clearly On Top 2-Free topcoat.. let me just say Wow! This stuff Rocks! Imagine if Gelous and Seche Vite had a baby, it's kinda like that. :) It does an Amazing job of feeding and smoothing hungry glitters and dries just as fast, if not even faster than Seche and has a super shiny finish with zero shrinkage.. Also it doesn't contain Toluene or Formaldehyde.

All of today's swatches used Clearly On Top topcoat.

Oh and by the way did you happen to notice the new printed on bottles? I think they look great, much better than the old sticker labels that always had air bubbles trapped underneath.

The Spring Collection features 9 new polishes total and will be released on Feb. 15th 2013. I know there are a few more of them that I simply Must Have. To see the whole collection click HERE.
