Hello Nailistas! Today's mani features 2 beauties from one of my favorite indie makers and online stores..
Ninja Polish! The first time I laid eyes on Alexandrite I knew it must be mine, unfortunately it was sold out and it seemed there would be no more. That is until Rhonni posted on Twitter that more of the magic pigment was discovered and she was able to make one last batch of the precious polish.. The stalking began. In November she restocked the Facets Collection along with some of the polishes from the Bling Collection. I feel soooo lucky to have scored both a bottle of Alexandrite and Nebula, especially since Alexadrite sold out, for what I can only assume to be forever, in less than 10 minutes!

Aren't they phenomenal! This is 2 coats of Alexandrite and 3 coats of Nebula on the accent nail. I layered them over the polish I was already wearing, Enchanted Polish ~ Across the Universe, because all 3 just happened to be a Perfect match. But to my surprise the base in Alexandrite is so richly pigmented that with these 2 coats you cannot see the undies at all, so I guess this is what Alexandrite would look like over any darker color. I think there are a few spots where you can see ATU peeking out through the glitters in Nebula but not really.
Alexandrite named for the color shifting gemstone, is seriously mesmerizing. With multichromatic pigments in the base and matching multichromatic glitters it shifts in color from a deep emerald green to a bright sapphire blue and a glowing purple with hints of magenta..
It's like nothing I've ever seen before and is so much more than I expected.

Nebula, part of the Ninja Polish Bling Collection, contains those same magical multichromatic glitters along with fine holographic glitters in a clear base. It can be worn over another color as a glitter topper or easily built to opacity all by itself. These are some very thirsty little glitters so I used a coat of Gelous with a coat of Seche Vite to smooth it out. Alexandrite I only needed to use one coat of Seche over.
I know this is a weird pic but check out that GLOW!!
And just like all the other polishes from the Ninja's that I've tried these both had a great formula, perfect consistency and a flawless application. Not a single issue with either. I have yet to find a Ninja Polish I didn't love.. though these 2 are definitely my new Favorites! I know they will both be getting a lot of use.

Ninja Polish is available at ninjapolish.com.
At the moment these shades are out of stock but hopefully at least Nebula will be making a return sometime in the near future.. and IF Alexandrite ever does come back I most definitely will need a back up bottle. Either way I will be stalking Ninja Polish on Facebook impatiently waiting for the rest of the Facets collection to be restocked.
I Need them All! :)

I really like Alexandrite.
