My belated Holiday Mani

I know it's a few days late but I just wanted to make a quick post to show you the mani I wore to our family's Christmas Eve party. I was in the middle of swatching the new Zoya collection so I almost didn't bother to do any Christmas nail art. But at the very last minute I decided I couldn't go to a holiday party with pastels on my nails- no offense to pastels, but it's Christmas not Easter.

I know the pics aren't the best, I just snapped a few really quick before we left..
This is what I wore.
The red is 3 coats of China Glaze Ruby Pumps, a polish that was on my wishlist Forever until an awesome friend in one of the nail groups I'm in surprised me with a random act of kindness. <3 So Sweet! And it's even more beautiful in person! Then I stamped the floral-like pattern from Bundle Monster plate BM314 using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Golden 1 over Ruby Pumps

The green however is a layering of sorts..
I started with 2 coats of Zoya Ivanka and decided it had more of a blueish tint than I was looking for so I added 2 more coats of Ninja Polish Tree of Lights. Which is insanely gorgeous but the gold in it made it lighter than I wanted. (if you want to see what Tree of lights looks like by itself you can see my swatches here) So to make it a darker shade of green I added 1, 2, 3 coats of Zoya Frida.. and poof! Perfection! Explains why it looks so incredibly thick, because it is. Not to mention the 2 coats of butter LONDON p.d. quick topcoat. Haha!
And the pine tree stamp is from Bundle Monster plate BM 321 also stamped in Sally Hansen Golden 1.

That's it.. Hope you liked my holiday mani.. At least I got it posted before the end of the year. I would have loved to do a Top Faves post like I see so many girls doing but my little ones birthday is coming up on the 1st and I'm pretty busy trying to plan her party and our NYE get together.. I really need to start planning ahead for things :)

My New Year's resolution this year is going to be to devote more time to working on the blog, doing more nail art and being more active on the FB and Twitter pages, I know I've really been slacking lately.. so sorry about that.
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for sticking with me throughout my first year of blogging,  it has been a blast and I can't wait for the next!
Till next time friends..
