Today I have a few Pure Ice polishes to show you. I actually own quite a few Pure Ice’s already. Their cremes and metallics are great for stamping.
I have 5 colors to show you today..well actually 4, I don’t know what happened but I must have accidentally deleted one of my pics.. oops.
Next is In the Mood, a periwinkle blue also with silver micro glitter but the glitter is more densely packed than in Really Rio, I think this is what would be classified as a foil finish as it has that almost metallic look with a smooth feel. This color was definitely my fave of the bunch, I would’ve liked it even more if the glitters were more scatttered like in the red. It was a little sheer, this ended up being 3 coats, could’ve probably gotten away with 2 tho.
Excuse Me is a bold yellow with a satin finish. The color is really bright, in direct sunlight it almost glows. This was very sheer, 3 coats here. The application wasn’t bad at all but for me any polish with this type of finish irks me because of the way it shows the brushstrokes. The perfectionist in me wants them to all be perfectly straight and that’s really hard to do.
Groovy Baby is a very dark purple. My camera wants to make it look a lot more blue for some reason. I think this is what would be called a jelly, not sure since I don’t have any to compare it to but it kind of has that squishy look to it. It’s very opaque tho, complete coverage in one coat.. so I don’t know if that would be jelly or not? (if anybody wants to clarify that for me, please do)
Last is First Love, the one I lost the pic for, at least I still have a bottle shot to show you tho. I didn’t really care for this one so much anyways. It’s a very pale iridescent pink with yellow/green undertones. And it was Super sheer. I ended up stopping at 4 coats and could still see through to the whites of my nails.
